Throwing stuff out there

All composition is born of improvisation. Go back far enough on a visual idea (be it yours or one that can be traced through history), and you’ll find someone just trying stuff out. Even if they’re copying nature.

So I’m a big fan of iteration. I’m constantly surprised. Often I think an idea in my head won’t work, but in the end it does. It’s always a reminder to reexamine self-made limitations.
